Nothing phone 2 release date announced

On July 11, the long-awaited Nothing Phone (2) will be released. The date is exactly one day after the debut of the Nothing Phone (1) on July 12, last year. The successor to the Phone (1), the second phone from the fledgling London-based tech business, will be launched through a webcast beginning at 4PM BST (3PM UTC).

The Nothing Phone 2 will be equipped with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen, and a 4,700 mAh battery, but nothing has been verified. Carl Pei also revealed that the future smartphone will receive Android upgrades for three years and security patches for four years. In terms of appearance, Phone (2) is predicted to look similar to its predecessor but with rounded corners.

Nothing else was revealed, except that the smartphone will be eligible for three years of Android OS upgrades and four years of security fixes. The company promises that the latest Nothing OS edition will provide customers with a speedier experience and additional functionality. We anticipate that the gadget will launch with Android 13 OS out of the box, as the business provides the most recent operating system with each new device.

The Nothing Phone (2) is projected to cost roughly Rs 40,000 in India and would be available through Flipkart, as teasers for this 5G phone are currently available on this e-commerce portal. The Phone (2) will most likely compete in the same pricing bracket as phones like the OnePlus 11R and Pixel 7a, given on the characteristics that the business has officially verified. To remind you, the Nothing Phone (1) was released in India for Rs 32,999.
