The messaging app WhatsApp, which is owned by Meta, has lately started rolling out a new text editor interface, according to WaBetaInfo.
The new function has reportedly already been made available to some beta testers, according to the app-tracking website, and will be made available to more users in a subsequent update.
Users will be able to modify pictures, videos, and GIFs using the updated text editor's new tools and fonts. Additionally, the iOS edition of the app is having work done on the new feature.
The screenshot demonstrates how users can verify if this feature is accessible in their accounts by opening the text editor. Users will be able to use a number of features if the new update is made accessible.
Although changing the font of a text was previously feasible, this feature allows users to quickly switch between various fonts by tapping one of the options displayed above the keyboard.
The ability to align text to the left, center, or right gives users more control over how text is formatted within pictures, videos, and GIFs.
According to WaBetaInfo, "Users can change the text background color, making it easier for users to distinguish important text from the rest."
Calistoga, Courier Prime, Damion, Exo 2, and Morning Breeze are a few of the new typefaces that have been made available to beta testers.
